Pricing Specialist Service

As a Senior Professional (P3) in the Commercial/Pricing Strategy & Planning department at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial and pricing strategies for a portfolio of current and future products across targeted customer/market segments. Your role will involve researching the market to understand the competitive landscape, identifying target market positions, and developing pricing strategies to achieve targeted market positions. Your responsibilities will include assessing data from various sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends, analyzing competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability, understanding product and market segmentation, and assisting in the development and maintenance of dashboards to monitor pricing and margin key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also track and analyze customer engagement, collaborate with sales and GPMMs to implement competitive pricing strategies, provide price recommendations aligned with market trends, and develop dynamic pricing tools to respond effectively to changing market needs. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and communicate pricing analysis findings to relevant stakeholders, specify and implement pricing processes to support professional pricing at all management levels, address any pricing-related issues raised by team members, and have hands-on experience with business software such as Power BI, SAP, and ERP. Your strong analytical and research skills, extensive experience in pricing strategies and revenue forecasting, ability to collaborate with sales and marketing departments on pricing strategies, and proficiency in presenting pricing analysis reports to stakeholders are essential for this role. To be successful in this position, you should have a background in pricing analysis of industrial products, particularly electrical power system products, experience in pricing management techniques and tools, strong interpersonal leadership skills, profound knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/PS) and MS Office (especially MS Excel and Power BI), and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
