Job Description

You will be responsible for providing support to sales bid teams (deal teams) by developing financial models, conducting risk assessments, analyzing pricing, and facilitating contract close-out. Your role will involve managing the scope, quality, risks, schedule, and resources of company-wide pricing initiatives. Additionally, you will guide and oversee the effectiveness of the analyses being performed, analyze pricing activity and transactional data, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to enhance pricing performance. You will also explore opportunities to expand initiatives and processes while ensuring alignment with relevant business policies. In this position, you will clearly outline the financial modeling strategy to support team members and solution teams, offering high-level guidance and oversight. When supporting a deal independently, you will design and develop the financial model, understand customer requirements, challenge the solution team based on industry knowledge, discuss cost drivers and levers, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand and influence environmental changes for tool realignment. You will actively participate in the policy drafting process, collaborate with various stakeholders to create relevant accounting policies, and work with the accounting team to draft policies that are widely applicable and beneficial for deal selling. Your role will involve determining pricing strategies, actively engaging in price-to-win activities, leading pricing discussions, influencing customers, and structuring deals in collaboration with sales teams and clients. You will leverage supporting functions such as Tax, Accounting, and Treasury to influence deal structures effectively. As a key member of the team, you will excel in writing proposal material that highlights sales messages, proposing and negotiating terms and conditions to achieve desired outcomes, reviewing contracts, providing financial input on terms and conditions, preparing the team for the governance process, presenting deal summaries to management, and delivering unbiased personal recommendations. This role typically requires over 10 years of relevant experience, an undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, and a graduate degree (such as an MBA/MS Finance) or professional certification (such as CPA/CA/CMA) is preferred. You should possess expert knowledge of financial and pricing analysis principles, data analysis skills, the ability to train and mentor others, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to perform general office requirements. You must be able to fulfill essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.,
