Role & responsibilities

JD for Pre sales Executive

A presales role in the EMS (Environmental Monitoring system) & ELV (Extra Low Voltage) field involves supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients. This includes understanding client requirements, proposing suitable systems solutions, preparing technical documentation, and delivering presentations. Essentially, presales act as a bridge between the technical aspects of solutions and the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and RFP responses with detailed technical specifications.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in establishing technical credibility and building long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on technical aspects of EMS, BMS and ELV systems.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and building management systems.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer needs analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record in a presales or technical sales role.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Strong understanding of the relevant technical field, including products, solutions, and industry trends.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyse customer needs, identify challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
