Key Responsibilities: - Comprehensive Quantity Take-Off: Precisely determine quantities for all components of projects, including prefabricated modules and traditional civil works. - Detailed Rate Analysis: Conduct in-depth rate analysis for various construction elements like reinforced concrete works, earthworks, structural steel, wall cladding systems, roofing solutions, and more. - Market Research & Vendor Management: Continuously research market rates, material costs, and labor inputs to optimize estimates and collaborate with procurement for material sourcing. - Bid Preparation & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals for projects, presenting them clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders. - Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality. - Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to integrate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Growth Mindset: Ambitious and eager to improve, seeing obstacles as opportunities for learning and innovation. - Proven Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 3+ years of experience as a Costing or Estimation Engineer in the modular or prefabrication construction sector. - Expertise in Estimation Software: Proficient in using industry-standard estimation software and tools. - Meticulous Attention to Detail: Eagle eye for accuracy in calculations and analyses. - Analytical Prowess: Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex projects into manageable cost components. - Exceptional Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills to explain technical information effectively. - Proactive & Independent: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
