Key Responsibilities: - Comprehensive Quantity Take-Off: Precisely determine quantities for all project components including prefabricated modules and civil works. - Detailed Rate Analysis: Conduct in-depth rate analysis for various construction elements such as RCC works, earthworks, structural steel, wall cladding, roofing, interiors, tiling, fenestrations, and architectural finishes. - Market Research & Vendor Management: Continuously research market rates, material costs, and labor inputs to optimize estimates and material sourcing. - Bid Preparation & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and proposals, presenting them effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders. - Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities without compromising quality. - Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to integrate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Growth Mindset: Ambitious, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges. - Proven Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 3+ years of experience as a Costing or Estimation Engineer in modular construction. - Expertise in Estimation Software: Proficient in industry-standard estimation tools. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous in calculations and analyses. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to break down complex projects. - Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to explain technical information. - Proactive & Independent: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
