Pre Sales - HVAC

Role Overview: As an Applications Engineering professional at Johnson Controls, your main focus will be to prepare optimized selections and accurate technical proposals by collaborating closely with the products team for pre-sales support. You will drive the process for application specifications, ensuring that the sales team receives the best solution according to requirements. Your role will involve providing pre-sales support on HVAC equipment, including AHU, VAV boxes, fans, split units, and chillers. Specifically, you will focus on the selection of chillers using JCI software and tools. Your responsibilities will also include interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, developing engineered equipment engineering submittals, and monitoring project deliverables in terms of quality, cost, and time. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare optimized selections and accurate technical proposals by collaborating with the products team - Provide pre-sales support on HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHU, VAV boxes, fans, and split units - Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop engineered equipment engineering submittals - Monitor project deliverables in terms of quality, cost, and time - Interact with sales to provide systems applications advice and creative solutions to unique customer needs Qualifications Required: - BE/ME Mechanical or equivalent degree - High level of knowledge of HVAC equipment like AHU, FCU, VAV boxes, chillers, and pumping systems - Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC equipment product selection process - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in written and verbal communication - Good leadership skills and people management experience would be an added advantage,
