Job Description

Job Title: BIW Pre-Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Process Planning: Develop and document BIW assembly processes for new and existing vehicle platforms.
Tooling & Equipment: Define tooling requirements and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and integration.
Layout Design: Create and optimize plant layouts for BIW lines, including robot stations and manual work zones.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design and Simulation teams to ensure manufacturability.
Strong understanding of automotive body structures, joining technologies (welding, riveting, adhesives), and material handling.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Preferred Skills :

Experience with OEM or Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
Knowledge of global manufacturing standards and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
CATIA V5/UG NX/Inventor/Solid Works/Process Simulate
