Automation Control Engineer

Job requirement: Controls Automation Engineer

Work experience: 5yrs to 12yrs

Position: Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer

Work location: Bangalore or Pune

Should be ready to work from office, 5days a week

Should be ready to work in 2nd shift time between 3.00pm to 12.00pm night IST

Mode of interview: L1 virtual and L2 - F2F in-person is compulsory.

Notice period: 30days max.

Mode of employment: Full-time.

Technical Skill and Tools Requirement

Must be having 5+ years of experience with Industrial Automation Control Systems (5~12 YOE).

Must be skilled in Allen Bradley Control System (Studio5000, FTView SE software and CompactLogix, ControlLogix, GuardLogix Processors).

Must be able to read control design schematics.

Must be having experience in Testing, Commissioning and Documentation support.

Must be an independant contributor

Must be Fluent in English

Preferably having exposure to MS Visio, VMWare, MS Access, RSNetworx.

Preferably having experience with FTView backend VBA scripting and Excel VBA coding.

Preferably having experience with troubleshooting field instruments.

Preferably having basic experience in Networking for OT layer.

Preferably having experience in Ring topology.

Preferably having experience with EtherNet/IP(Must), ControlNet, Modbus TCP/IP protocols.

Preferably having experience with configuring Rockwell Historian ME Module and managed switches.

Good to have SIL Programming experience.

Good to have experience with Electrical Traction system and hydrostatic system.

Good to have Ignition SCADA experience.

Good to have experience with engine, generators, dust control systems, hydraulic/ Pneumatic circuits.

Good to have any Data historian, MS SQL DB Experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create machine programs for Control Systems (mostly AB) as per client's requirement.

Documentation and testing support for client's lifecycle development model

Commissioning support for machines (~about 20% to 25% travel in a year)
