Automation Control Engineer

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager - Control Engineer at Exide Energy Solutions Limited, you will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing organization at the Prantij, Gujarat, Battery Pack Manufacturing Location. Your primary responsibility will be to integrate and develop software protocols with siemens S7-1500,1200 series. You will work towards achieving the company's goals by ensuring the uptime of pack and module line equipments, conducting site acceptance tests, troubleshooting software flaws, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Handle equipments like Conveyors, Lifters, AMR, Robots - Develop programs on siemens HMI - Interface barcode scanner with PLC - Work on servo (sinamics) and integration of MES with PLC - Ensure traceability and work with SQL database software - Work on CCD systems and integrated CCD system on robots - Teach KUKA robots for inhouse applications - Troubleshoot conveying line equipments and DC nut runners - Conduct Site acceptance tests with clients - Maintain backup of complete pack and module equipment - Debug software flaws and carry out improvements in pack and module equipments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for defining requirements - Perform data analysis and propose design improvements - Support the development of validation documentation - Knowledge of electrical circuits and communication protocols like Profibus, ProfNet, Modbus, Ether CAT - Troubleshoot HIOKI tester integrated with main lines and program coding in C-sharp Qualifications Required: - BE / B.Tech degree - 5-12 years of experience as a Control Engineer - Qualified as Software Engineer - Hands-on experience with siemens S7-1200/1500 series and drive programming - Experience in reputed Auto OEM industries or with reputed automation integrators - Familiarity with C-Sharp language programming will be an added advantage (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.),
