• Prepare and finalize print-ready layouts for

  offset and screen printing jobs

• Adapt client-provided designs to meet printing and machine specifications

• Create layouts for labels, tags, cartons, brochures, and promotional materials

• Ensure correct bleeds, trims, margins, and registrations

• Perform

  preflight checks

  for fonts, images, resolution, colors, and links
• Handle

  color separations (CMYK / Spot / Pantone)

• Prepare files for screen positives, films, or plates (CTP)

• Create imposition layouts

  as per sheet size and press capacity
• Ensure trapping, overprint, and knockouts are correctly applied

• Match colors using

  Pantone / Lab / CMYK standards

• Coordinate with production for ink mixing and shade matching

• Make minor color corrections as required for different substrates

• Coordinate with

  production, sales, and quality teams

• Generate digital proofs / hard proofs

  for internal or client approval
• Implement corrections after approvals and maintain version control

• Strong understanding of

  printing processes (offset & screen)

• Knowledge of

  pre-press standards and color theory

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

• Printing press / production environment
• May require coordination with shop-floor and production teams
