Position - Quality Practitioner Experience - 8+ Years Location - Hyderabad Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days A Quality Practitioner in IT software is a professional responsible for ensuring the quality of software products throughout their development lifecycle. Their primary focus is to make sure that the software meets specified requirements, is free of defects, and provides a good user experience. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (QA): Developing and implementing processes and standards to maintain quality throughout the development cycle. Quality Control (QC): Inspecting and testing software products to ensure they meet the required standards. Testing: Conducting different types of tests, including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Process Improvement: Continuously improving processes based on feedback and performance metrics. Collaboration: Working with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the product from the start. Common Roles and Titles: Quality Analyst Focuses on identifying issues and suggesting improvements. QA Engineer Designs and executes test cases, both manual and automated. Test Engineer Specializes in testing software for functionality, performance, and security. QA Manager Leads a team of QA professionals and oversees quality strategies and processes. Software Quality Consultant – Provides expert advice on quality practices and process improvements. Skills Required: Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Knowledge of QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Quality Center. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities.
