We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Instrumentation Engineer to support the development, testing, and validation of ABS systems for 2-wheelers . The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting, installing, calibrating, and maintaining instrumentation used in vehicle testing, especially for ABS performance, durability, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute instrumentation setup for ABS testing on test benches, rigs, and vehicles. Integrate and maintain sensors (e.g., wheel speed sensors, pressure transducers, accelerometers, etc.) and data acquisition systems (DAQs) . Support brake testing (performance, endurance, and compliance tests) with accurate data capture and analysis. Collaborate with R&D, design, and validation teams to understand test requirements and deliver reliable instrumentation solutions. Prepare test plans, instrumentation layouts, wiring diagrams , and calibration reports. Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, or failures in ABS performance. Maintain logs, documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., AIS, ISO, etc.). Support prototype vehicle builds and on-road testing. Coordinate with suppliers for instrumentation hardware procurement and upgrades. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of instrumentation hardware , sensors, and DAQ systems (e.g., NI, Dewesoft, AVL, etc.) Experience in automotive testing , especially ABS, brake systems, or chassis components Hands-on with CAN, LIN, and vehicle communication protocols Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, or similar tools for data processing Knowledge of 2-wheeler dynamics and braking systems is a strong advantage Good analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams and under field conditions Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ABS or braking systems testing in an automotive environment Knowledge of homologation standards for 2-wheeler braking systems Exposure to test automation and scripting Certification in automotive testing or instrumentation (optional but preferred)
