PPC Engineer

As a Senior Engineer in Production Planning & Control (PPC) at our company in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, you will play a crucial role in managing production planning, material scheduling, and dispatch coordination. Your expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, and vendor/customer coordination will be essential for ensuring seamless and timely execution of production activities. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate production planning schedules based on WIP stock and finished goods. - Execute capacity planning and allocate manpower to meet production demands. - Plan and procure raw materials/child parts to maintain optimal production levels. - Monitor and reconcile monthly orders with stock inventory. - Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accurate material requirement planning. - Track and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. - Implement FIFO for semi-finished and finished goods to reduce dead stock and WIP. - Prepare daily/monthly MIS and OEE reports for management review. - Coordinate dispatch planning based on customer requirements and manage daily dispatch reports. - Collaborate with production, quality, assembly, purchase, and stores for smooth workflow. - Address customer logistics complaints and ensure timely resolution. - Monitor finished goods inventory accuracy and track outbound shipments. - Manage logistics operations, including vehicle utilization, invoice & e-way bill preparation. - Utilize supplier communication portals such as Tata Motors, Escorts, CNH Industrial, etc. Skills & Competencies Required: - Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Pivot Table, V/H Lookup, Word, PowerPoint). - Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Navision, Finsys). - Knowledge of ISO & IATF audits. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Team management and coordination abilities. - Effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and customers. Qualifications: - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control.
