Job Description

Development of Fuel efficiency, Emissions and Drivability of BS-VI, BS 7 gasoline/diesel vehicles with Manual Transmission/Continuously Variable Transmission/Dual Clutch Transmission
Knowledge about HEV and PHEV will be an added advantage
Support calibration effort for driveability and vehicle-launch
Support early identification/understanding of emerging Quality issues for feedback coordination to homeroom
Perform diagnosis for Powertrain-related issues during development and post-SOP
Hands-on experience on data acquisition system and diagnostic tools (INCA, CANoe, etc.)
Failure report generation and feedback to design team
Investigation of failed parts for root cause analysis
Component life prediction and Monitoring of consumables
PT system functionality checks, software flashing and performance testing
Errors & fault code detection with diagnostic tools and issue resolution
Experience to handle various testing related sensors and instruments and sensors
Support for Certification and homologation whenever required
Participation in performance attributes calibration at different location (willingness to travel)
