Job Description

As a Senior Power System Engineer at Tractebel, you will be responsible for a variety of power system analysis tasks including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Transient Stability, optimal power flow, capacitor placement, P-V and Q-V analysis, Voltage stability, Tap changer optimization study, system security analysis, Insulation coordination, EMT studies like TOV, SFO, FFO, VFTO, Relay Coordination, Harmonic analysis, Flicker, voltage fluctuation, and Arc Flash studies. Your role will also involve conducting Solar/Onshore Wind/ Off-shore wind/ Battery storage grid code compliance studies with steady state P-Q analysis, LVRT, HVRT, FRT, and Set point controls. In addition, you will be responsible for Power Transmission System Master planning studies which include assessment of SVC, STACOM, HVDC interconnection, Frequency stability, UFLS implementation, AGC, and small signal stability analysis. Furthermore, you will be involved in Power Distribution System Master planning studies focusing on PV, Electric vehicle, Battery Storage, reliability analysis, and distribution system automation. You will also work on Renewable energy hosting capacity studies in medium, high, and extra high voltage systems, along with developing load forecasting models and conducting Energy Mix studies including the calculation of LCOE. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Transmission, Distribution, and Substation basic engineering, as well as Lenders engineering. You are required to have more than 3 years but less than 15 years of professional experience and hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
