Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Interconnection Engineer with proven experience in the U.S. energy market and expertise in grid interconnection for renewable energy projects. You will ensure new solar and battery energy storage projects are safely, reliably, and efficiently connected to the grid, supporting both companies and grid operators with technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct power system and interconnection studies to ensure safe, reliable grid connection for solar and battery energy storage projects
• Prepare and review interconnection documents for major U.S. markets (PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, SPC).
• Collaborate with engineering teams and partners in the U.S. and India to resolve interconnection challenges.
• Utilize engineering software tools (e.g., PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, or similar) for analysis and studies.
• Develop clear, concise technical reports and documentation for project approvals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule

What Were Looking For

• 4 to 8 years of Interconnection (Power System Studies) experience working on renewable energy projects
• Good understanding of interconnection standards and requirements (NERC, FERC, IEEE, ISTS, Etc)
• U.S. market experience is mandatory
• Good with engineering software (like PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, or similar)
• Understands requirements for connecting renewable projects to the power grid.
