Job Summary:

A highly experienced and versatile Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native application deployment, and automation. Specializes in designing scalable, secure, and automated environments for microservices architectures running on AWS EKS Fargate. Plays a key role in bridging development and operations by streamlining release processes and improving deployment reliability across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Design & Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation for multi-environment AWS workloads.
• Implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure across services like EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, SQS, SES, and Batch.

• CI/CD & Deployment Automation:

• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for automating deployments of backend (.NET Core) and frontend (React Native) apps.
• Implement blue-green and canary deployments using EKS, AWS Load Balancer, and automated endpoint testing before traffic switching.
• Configure and manage multi-environment pipelines, integrating environment-specific variables and secrets.

• Containerization & Kubernetes:

• Build, test, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Amazon EKS Fargate.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, and ingress configurations using Helm, YAML manifests, and GitOps best practices.

• Monitoring & Observability:

• Design and automate CloudWatch dashboards for API metrics, including latency, success/error counts, and PostgreSQL performance.
• Implement custom metrics and alerts for system health, DR planning, and application-level observability.

• S3 & Serverless Integration:

• Automate workflows triggered by S3 events using AWS Lambda to submit AWS Batch jobs based on dynamic parameters and metadata.
• Integrate S3 with AWS Transfer Family, managing custom policies for user access across buckets.

• Disaster Recovery & High Availability:

• Design DR strategies for workloads running in EKS Fargate with data backup, cross-region failover planning, and infrastructure replication.

• Release Management & Environment Strategy:

• Manage release pipelines and environment strategies using Git branching models (develop, QA, UAT, Integ, Prod).
• Oversee sprint-based release cycles and coordinate manual vs. automated database and mobile build processes.
