Description

The Power Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the power generation facilities within the rice industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in boiler, turbine, and ESP systems, aiming to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the power plant, ensuring efficient and safe performance of boiler, turbine, and ESP systems.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize energy production while minimizing costs.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations in power plant operations.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation for maintenance and upgrades of plant equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of power generation with overall production processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in power plant operations, specifically with boilers, turbines, and electrostatic precipitators (ESP).
• Strong knowledge of power generation technologies and processes in the rice industry.
• Proficient in plant management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the energy sector.
