Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive and visually compelling

  Power BI dashboards and reports

  .
• Build and optimize

  data models

  using Power BI Desktop.
• Create complex

  DAX measures

  and calculations to support analytical requirements.
• Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, Cloud databases).
• Perform

  data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)

  using Power Query (M language).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
• Ensure

  data accuracy, security, and refresh scheduling

  in Power BI Service.
• Publish, manage, and optimize reports and datasets in Power BI Workspace.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, Analysts, Product Owners).
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement best practices for efficient dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in

  Power BI development

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Power BI Desktop

  ,

  Power BI Service

  , and

  Power Query Editor

  .
• Expertise in

  DAX expressions

  and building advanced data models.
• Good understanding of

  data warehousing concepts

  , star schema, snowflake schema.
• Experience working with

  SQL

  (writing queries, joins, stored procedures).
• Familiarity with

  Azure

  Synapse

  Data Factory

  , or other cloud data platforms (preferred).
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and create user-friendly BI solutions.
• Strong communication and requirement-gathering skills.
