Power Bi Developer

Activities to be performed :

• Creation of high end and complex BI dashboards in Power BI along with backend data extraction and management from multiple source systems

• ETL Data Flow creation/ Data transformation / Data manipulation in SQL Server or Power Query

• Developing complex queries using sub queries and multiple joins.

• End to End handling of BI projects including Requirement Gathering, Solutioning, POC Development, Data Model Creation, BI Development Deployment and Testing

• Data comprehension and processing of reports, data input in the reports based on agreed delivery schedule
• Aggregation of data from different sources and representation based on client requirements
• Creation of customised dashboards and leadership reports

• Coordination and communication with the client teams across multiple territories

• Tracking of work request delivery to the clients/requestors
• Review of deliverables for data accuracy, representation and formatting
• Maintenance of process documents, checklists and error logs
• Documentation/design of processes and design of review checklists
• Developing and updating training materials and documents Conduct training of processes as and when required .

Requirements

• Expertise and experience in developing complex visualisation dashboards using Tableau and Power BI

• Core competency in advanced ETL flow development in Alteryx, SSIS

• Competency and experience in Data Analysis, Structuring and Query Development in SQL with SSRS, SSAS

• Understanding of user-centered design and development and creating wireframes/protypes

• Understanding of visualization design principles

• Experience with structured and unstructured data sets

• Ability to clean and integrate data from a variety of sources

• Ability to analyse and anticipate client requests, interpret asks and act according to expectations
• Excellent reasoning and analytical ability
• Capable of designing new approaches which enhance quality and productivity
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and constantly reprioritize

Education/qualifications:

• B Tech/M Tech/ M Sc (Maths/ Stats)

Must have 6+ years of on the job experience of working as a Power BI Developer/ Insights Analyst
