Power BI Developer

This role involves transforming raw HR data into actionable intelligence that supports strategic workforce planning, compliance, diversity tracking, and employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced

  Power BI dashboards

  for core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, attrition, performance, compensation, learning, and workforce planning.
• Connect Power BI to HCM data sources such as

  Oracle HCM Cloud, SAP, Workday, ADP, or SuccessFactors

  through direct query or data integration layers.
• Build complex data models and

  DAX measures

  to support KPIs like

  headcount trends, attrition rates, time-to-fill, diversity ratios, talent pipeline health, training effectiveness, and engagement scores

  .
• Work closely with HRBPs, COEs, and leadership to gather reporting requirements and deliver intuitive, secure, and interactive visualizations.
• Ensure

  data security, RLS (Row-Level Security)

  , and confidentiality protocols for sensitive HR data.
• Collaborate with IT, HRIS, and data engineering teams to validate data pipelines and manage report refresh schedules.
• Support compliance and audit requirements through accurate reporting of

  pay equity, diversity, and HR regulatory metrics

  .
• Provide training and best practices to HR users on self-service analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in

  Power BI development

  , with at least 2 years in the

  HCM/HR domain

  .
• Expertise in

  DAX

  , Power Query (M), and relational data modeling.
• Strong understanding of

  HR data architecture

  , including employee master data, organizational hierarchies, and position management.
• Familiarity with

  HRIS platforms

  (Oracle, SAP, Workday, ADP, etc.).
• Experience in delivering

  confidential HR analytics

  with appropriate access controls.
• Proven ability to turn complex HR data into compelling visual insights for leadership decision-making.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  Oracle HCM OTBI

  , BI Publisher, or Fusion data models.
• Knowledge of

  Power Automate

  for HR process automation.
• Exposure to

  predictive workforce analytics

  or integration with tools like R/Python for churn forecasting or sentiment analysis.
• Understanding of

  GDPR and data privacy compliance

  in HR reporting.
• Familiarity with

  HR data warehouses

  or lakehouse architectures (Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
• Certifications in HR Analytics or Oracle HCM (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud Reporting)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive data discreetly.
• Ability to present workforce data in an executive-ready format.
• Proactive mindset and ability to drive HR reporting improvements and innovation.
• Strong collaboration skills with HR, IT, and compliance teams
