Powder Coating In charge ( with Anodizing Expertise )

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Powder Coating Incharge with over 8 years of hands-on experience in powder coating and anodizing processes

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the powder coating and anodizing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
• Supervise the preparation, application, and curing of powder coatings and anodizing treatments on various components.
• Develop, implement, and optimize powder coating and anodizing processes to improve coating quality, durability, and productivity.
• Monitor and maintain equipment such as spray booths, curing ovens, anodizing tanks, and related machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations related to surface treatment processes.
• Train, mentor, and manage the coating team, including operators and technicians.
• Coordinate with procurement and maintenance departments to ensure availability and upkeep of raw materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Perform regular quality checks and inspections to detect and resolve defects like uneven coating, peeling, discoloration, or corrosion resistance issues.
• Maintain process documentation, batch records, and prepare reports on production metrics, quality parameters, and team performance.
• Collaborate with production planning to meet delivery schedules and optimize production capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to powder coating and anodizing.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in surface coating and anodizing.

Desired profile:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Surface Coating Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in

  powder coating and anodizing processes

  in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of powder coating techniques, anodizing processes, surface preparation, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with different types of powders, chemicals used in anodizing, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience in team management, process optimization, and quality control.
• Understanding of safety and environmental compliance related to chemical handling and surface treatment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office and basic production management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
