Job Description

We are Hiring for a Leading MNC for Pune location.

Job Role:- PostgreSQL DBA L1.

Job Location:- Pune - Viman Nagar

Experience:- Minimum 1.5+years experience is required.

Notice Period:- Immediate Joiners/15days are only considered.

Job Responsibilities:-

1. BFL is looking for PostgreSQL Database Administration with Minimum 1.5years of DBA experience.

2. Provide primary support for PostgreSQL community edition, EDB knowledge will have advantage.

3. Design maintain and ensure high availability solutions including replication, clustering, etc.

4. Design, implement and document Disaster Recovery strategies.

5. Provide proactive and reactive data management support to ensure database security, integrity, stability and system availability.

6. Monitor database performance, Implement changes, Installations and apply new patches and versions when required.

7. Perform user access management and performance tuning.

8. Manage all regular DBA Tasks and activities.

9. Experience in Linux environment.

10. Contribute to improving and creating DBA policies, procedures, and standards.
