Role Overview: You will work in the area of Software Engineering, focusing on the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions and applications. Your responsibilities will include applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems, developing and applying software engineering practice and knowledge, exercising original thought and judgment, supervising other software engineers, building skills and expertise in your discipline, collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and working autonomously with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercise original thought and judgment, and supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. - Build skills and expertise in your software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations. - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. - Act as a key contributor in a complex environment, leading team activities for software design and development. - Proactively understand internal/external client needs and offer advice. - Assess and adapt to project issues, formulate innovative solutions, work under pressure, and drive the team to succeed. - Be aware of profitability needs and may manage costs for specific projects/areas. - Explain difficult concepts to various audiences to ensure understanding. - Motivate team members and establish informal networks with key contacts outside your area.
