Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The role involves using deep learning methods and molecular simulations to develop machine learning potential models.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Computational Physics/ Computational Chemistry/Computation Material Science and Engineering
Strong background in statistical mechanics, molecular simulations and thermodynamics.
Significant experience in quantum mechanical calculations.
Rich experience in coding in python, C, C++ and experience of the Linux environment.
Experience in machine learning and AI methods and tools
