Role Description

Looking for a postdoctoral candidate with experience in process sedimentology, detailed facies analysis, and sequence stratigraphy. The candidate must have at least two (preferably four) published articles in the SCIE-indexed journals. Fundamental understanding of ichnology and taphonomy will be an asset. Qualifications

• Experience in lithologging outcrops and cored intervals, identification of trace fossils, preparation of digitised outcrops, ichnofabric diagrams
• Thorough understanding of sequence stratigraphy, process sedimentology updated to the present decade
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in academic and colloquial English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Ph.D. in Sedimentology, Startaigraphy, Palaeontology branches of geology
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
