Job Description

As a Post-Doctoral fellow in our Microgrid and Drives Research Lab, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of Microgrid technologies and smart grid development. You will collaborate with a team of experts and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Responsibilities: - Conduct independent research in Microgrid technologies with a focus on transitioning towards Smartgrid prototypes - Learn, contrive, and develop control algorithms for a battery-augmented 3kW Wind-Solar Rooftop renewable power system interfaced with WAVECT controller (Funded Project) - Develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems - Collaborate with fellow researchers and industry partners to drive advancements in the field - Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences Requirements: - Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field - Strong background in power systems, control systems, and renewable energy technologies with knowledge of optimization algorithms - Experience in smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems is advantageous - Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, BLOCKCHAIN, or other relevant tools - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team If you are enthusiastic about contributing to the progress of Microgrid and Smartgrid technologies and possess the requisite skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting Post-Doctoral fellow position.
