Role Description As an Industrial Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work on advanced hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects with direct applications in water systems, infrastructure, and climate resilience. The role involves model development, data analysis, and integration of machine learning techniques to solve real-world water management challenges in collaboration with our research team and industry partners Qualifications Ph.D. in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Oceanograpy and related fields. (Candidates with International research experience will be preferred). Strong research background with a proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Hands-on experience with hydrological and hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., SWAT, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, MIKE 21/+, TUFLOW, OpenFOAM). Familiarity with GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS) for spatial data handling. Proficiency in programming and data analysis using Python and R. Excellent knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning applications Desired experience in Data Assimilation techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
