Job Description

The Portfolio Management Analyst role involves supporting the execution and implementation of the Company's strategies and programs to enhance the financial and operational performance of the funds. Your responsibilities include gathering market, property, and portfolio data, performing analytical tasks, and supporting daily fund operations. Your focus will be on data collection, internal and external reporting, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. You will assist in completing internal reports to provide insights into operational and financial key metrics across the portfolio. This involves analyzing data such as occupancy rates, collection ratios, and property-level income statements. You will aggregate data from the company's internal reporting system into various analytical tools and reports, often dealing with large datasets for approximately 300 assets. In addition, you will produce client reports using in-house applications and Microsoft Office tools, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of deliverables. Variance analysis to understand key drivers of results, explaining changes from prior forecasts, budgets, and previous years is also part of your role. You will collaborate with various teams in portfolio management, asset management, investment accounting, property accounting, and investor relations, and participate in ad hoc projects across the Investment Management organization. Furthermore, you will be involved in designing new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver financial results to management and the broader Portfolio Management team. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience. You should have a basic understanding of financial reports, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess established quantitative skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, and experience working with multiple data sets. You should have strong interpersonal skills to build effective business relationships with cross-functional teams and coordinate with various stakeholders. Effective communication skills are essential for discussing results with business stakeholders and maintaining high client satisfaction. A commitment to quality, control, and a strong focus on client needs are also important aspects of this role. Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required for this position.,
