As a Portfolio Governance at Barclays, you will play a crucial role as a Risk and Control expert, driving the business forward to help customers. Your responsibilities will include owning Test Automation within APACME across multiple technology platforms, ensuring alignment with Barclays technology strategy, and balancing delivery, technology, and enterprise impacts with resiliency, observability, supportability, security, and operational readiness requirements. Additionally, you will take ownership of Tech Governance Lead to enhance efficiency and quality in your work. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and enhance the Technology Governance Framework in alignment with enterprise risk, security, compliance, and audit mandates. - Lead governance routines for Change Management, Access Control, Asset Inventory, and Policy Compliance. - Partner with global and regional teams to ensure compliance with APACME regulations such as MAS, HKMA, RBI, SAMA, UAECB. - Oversee technology policy adherence, define key control indicators (KCIs), and track governance metrics via dashboards and executive reporting. - Coordinate internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and risk assessments for timely closure of findings and actions. - Utilize tools like JIRA, DORA Metrics, and Spring Insight. - Support strategic technology initiatives with governance oversight during product launches, cloud migration, third-party onboarding, etc. - Lead forums to communicate risk posture, control health, and remediation status to technology and business leaders. - Develop and manage control libraries, dashboards, KCIs, KRIs, and governance packs. Qualifications Required: - Experience in governance across cloud adoption, data privacy, third-party risk, and agile/DevOps environments. - Hands-on exposure to tools such as ServiceNow. - Familiarity with regional cybersecurity and operational resilience regulations (e.g., DORA, MAS TRM Guidelines, UAE IRR Framework). - Ability to operate across onshore-offshore models, managing governance for third-party vendors and captive units. In this role, you will be based in the Pune office. Your responsibilities include facilitating portfolio prioritization, supporting effective governance, monitoring portfolio performance, oversight of change delivery, and engaging all stakeholders to ensure effective delivery. Accountabilities: - Facilitate portfolio prioritization and compliance with control framework. - Support effective governance of the portfolio for quality decision-making. - Monitor portfolio performance and report to senior management and stakeholders. - Manage portfolio Book of Work, prioritization, and dependencies of change initiatives. - Review and resolve portfolio risks and issues, supporting resolution as necessary. - Engage stakeholders to understand and fulfill their responsibilities. - Empower portfolio management resources and drive accountability and transparency. - Provide best practice guidance and expertise for consistent excellence around controls and governance.
