Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and update credit & operational policies for HL and LAP products.
Ensure alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal risk frameworks.
Monitor portfolio trends and recommend policy changes to manage risk.
Partner with credit, sales, legal, technical, risk, and operations teams for policy implementation.
Support new product program launches, policy exceptions, and process enhancements.
Maintain updated policy documentation and version control.
Conduct training and awareness sessions for field teams.
Benchmark market practices and competitor policy frameworks.
Ensure timely policy circulation, communication, and adherence tracking.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of mortgage business (HL & LAP) credit processes.
Knowledge of regulatory and risk guidelines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent drafting and documentation skills.
Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and presentation tools.
Attention to detail and structured thinking.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related fields.
Preferred certifications in credit, risk, or housing finance.
Experience:
36 years in mortgage risk, or policy function (preferably NBFC/HFC).
Exposure to product program development and policy governance preferred.
