The Functional Consultant for MES is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). MES System Implementation:Lead the deployment of MES solutions, including requirement gathering, process analysis, system configuration, testing, and go-live support. Business Process Mapping:Understand automotive manufacturing processes, including shop-floor operations, production control, quality management, and logistics, and translate them into MES requirements. Requirement Gathering Documentation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, IT) to gather detailed requirements and create functional design documentation. Integration:Ensure seamless integration between MES, ERP (e.g., SAP), SCADA, PLCs, and other shop-floor automation systems. Testing Validation:Develop test cases, perform system and user acceptance testing, and ensure the MES system is operating as required before full production deployment. Experience:7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5+ years in MES implementation projects within manufacturing environments (e.g., Solar PV, etc.).
