Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Engineer to handle complete plumbing and fire-fighting water systems for high-rise buildings. The role involves site execution, coordination, quality control, testing, and commissioning of all plumbing systems in line with approved drawings and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute plumbing works for high-rise buildings including:
• Water supply (cold & hot water)
• Drainage & sewage systems
• Rainwater harvesting
• STP / WTP coordination
• Fire-fighting water lines (coordination with fire team)
• Study and review plumbing drawings, schematics, and BOQs.
• Ensure installation as per approved drawings, IS codes, and NBC standards.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, fire-fighting teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Plan floor-wise and shaft-wise plumbing execution.
• Monitor material requirements, approvals, and consumption.
• Conduct pressure testing, leakage testing, and system commissioning.
• Inspect plumbing works at various stages and ensure quality compliance.
• Ensure proper slope, venting, and pipe routing in high-rise vertical stacks.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Certify contractor measurements and bills.
• Ensure safety practices at site and compliance with statutory norms.
• Assist in final handover documentation and as-built drawings.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of high-rise plumbing systems and vertical distribution.
• Familiarity with HDPE, UPVC, CPVC, PPR, GI piping systems.
• Understanding of pumps, overhead tanks, sump systems, pressure boosting systems.
• Knowledge of IS codes, NBC, and local authority regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings.
• Good coordination and site management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD (basic).

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing Engineering.
• Relevant experience in high-rise construction projects.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
