Plumbing Engineer

Job Summary:

Blue Star is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic MEP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plumbing layouts and systems including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
  
• Prepare and review plumbing design drawings, shop drawings, and BOQ as per project specifications.
  
• Coordinate with architects, HVAC, electrical, and civil teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings and quality standards on-site.
  
• Monitor and inspect the installation and commissioning of plumbing systems.
  
• Identify technical issues and provide solutions to resolve on-site execution challenges.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  
• Conduct site inspections and support QA/QC processes during project execution

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems design and execution.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD and plumbing design software.
  
• Familiar with local building codes and international plumbing standards.
  
• Strong coordination and team management skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  
• Ability to handle site execution and vendor coordination.
