Job Description

Role Overview As a PLC Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of industrial automation systems. You will be responsible for PLC programming, system integration, and on-site project execution. This role demands strong technical proficiency, practical experience with multiple PLC platforms, and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems in real-world conditions. Key Responsibility Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC- based automation systems. Work with Delta, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, and other leading PLC platforms Implement and maintain industrial communication protocols, including Modbus RTU/TCP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, CANopen, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, OPC UA, RS485, and RS232 Integrate PLC systems with HMI, SCADA, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PLC-controlled systems Diagnose and resolve PLC hardware, software, and communication issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize automation solutions Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including wiring diagrams and program backups Provide training and technical support to internal teams and customers Adhere to safety and compliance standards during project execution Key Requirements •Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with proficiency in Delta, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley systems •Strong working knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, CANopen, EtherCAT, OPC UA, RS485, and RS232 •Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control system diagrams •Practical experience in SCADA and HMI integration, as well as automation device interfacing (sensors, actuators, VFDs, and servo systems) •Familiarity with machine vision systems such as Cognex, Keyence, Sick, or Omron for inspection and quality control tasks •Exposure to manufacturing and industrial automation environments •Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work both independently and in collaborative settings •Willingness to travel for on-site project execution, commissioning, and customer support
