As a Platform Engineer at Astellas, you will be a crucial player in driving digital initiatives forward in an agile organization. The agile operating model consists of two components - Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution aligns multiple missions around business goals and facilitates collaboration on a larger scale, while Digital Capability focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables the scaling of agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement. Your role as a Platform Engineer will involve focusing on the development, deployment, and integration of software platforms that support business processes and operations. You will need a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of specific platforms that drive business functions such as education and research grants management and scientific publication management. Utilizing systems/tools such as MagP (Cybergrants) and PubStrat (Anju Pubstrat MAX) is essential in this role. Your goal will be to optimize these platforms to support business goals, enhance efficiency, and drive growth. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field and implement innovative solutions. This position is based in Bengaluru and will require some on-site work. Your essential job responsibilities will include platform development and configuration, system integration, performance monitoring and optimization, user support and training, initiative execution, collaboration, continuous learning, innovation, reporting, problem-solving, and quality assurance. The qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 4 years of experience supporting and configuring systems, subject matter expertise in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry, cross-cultural experience, and innovation and creativity. Previous experience in education and research grants management and/or scientific publication management business domain and systems is preferred.
