Role Overview:

Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and define

  the internal platform strategy, roadmap, and developer tools.
• Design and build

  enterprise Kubernetes platforms

  on

  Azure AKS

  (multi-cluster, secure, scalable).
• Architect platform components like

  Backstage

  ,

  ArgoCD/Flux (GitOps)

  ,

  Crossplane

  ,

  Vault

  , and CI/CD pipelines.
• Use

  IaC

  (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep) and

  policy as code

  (OPA, Kyverno, Azure Policy).
• Improve developer experience with automation, templates, APIs, and self-service workflows.
• Architect platform security: RBAC, network policies, image scanning, secrets, compliance.
• Build observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger) and reliability practices (SLO/SLI).
• Support multi-cloud/hybrid architectures (Azure + some GCP).
• Enable teams through training, documentation, and platform adoption programs.
• Innovate with new technologies and continuously improve the platform.
  

Skills Needed:

• Strong

  platform architecture

  , platform engineering, and Kubernetes expertise.
• Deep Azure cloud knowledge, GitOps, CI/CD, networking, and security skills.
  

Experience:

• 7+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years building internal platforms or platform architecture.
