Work Mode:

Position Summary:

The Spotfire Platform Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of the TIBCO Spotfire analytics platform. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of the Spotfire environment while supporting end users, developers, and data teams in leveraging Spotfire for analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Management & Administration
- Install, configure, and upgrade Spotfire Server, Web Player, Automation Services, and Analyst clients.
- Manage Spotfire environment across development, test, and production instances.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and stability.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, backups, and patch management.
User & Security Management
- Manage user authentication and authorization using LDAP/Active Directory.
- Implement and maintain roles, groups, and permissions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with enterprise governance policies.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate Spotfire with databases, data warehouses, and external systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP, Snowflake).
- Configure and maintain Automation Services jobs and scheduled tasks.
- Support data connections and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Support & Collaboration
- Provide technical support to Spotfire developers and business users.
- Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and analytics teams to optimize workflows.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track platform usage, performance metrics, and license utilization.
- Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for system health and capacity planning.
