Job Description

Role Summary

Spotfire Platform Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain
TIBCO Spotfire servers
, Web Player, Automation Services, and related components.
Administer Spotfire platform including
user access, licenses, groups, and security settings
(via LDAP/AD or SSO).
Monitor system health, usage, and performance; perform
capacity planning and tuning
to ensure high availability.
Manage
Spotfire Library
, data connections, and information links.
Apply
patches, upgrades, and hotfixes
in coordination with IT and vendor teams.
Troubleshoot issues related to server performance, data source connectivity, and client configurations.
Support developers and analysts with deployments, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of dashboards and data models.
Automate administrative tasks using
Python scripts or Spotfire APIs
.
Implement and maintain
governance policies, backup/recovery strategies, and platform documentation
.
Collaborate with
database administrators, security, and infrastructure teams
to maintain integration and compliance.
Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for
data security, access control, and version management
.
Provide L2/L3 support for Spotfire-related incidents and service requests.
