Job Description

Job Summary:

The Spotfire Platform Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the TIBCO Spotfire environment. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the Spotfire platform while supporting end-users, developers, and business teams in delivering analytical insights efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and maintain TIBCO Spotfire servers, including Web Player, Automation Services, and Analyst clients.
Manage Spotfire installations, upgrades, patches, and environment migrations.
Monitor system performance, availability, and usage to ensure optimal operation.
Implement user access controls, licenses, and group security management in line with company policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve Spotfire-related performance, access, and configuration issues.
Coordinate with infrastructure and network teams for server maintenance and resource allocation.
Automate administrative tasks using scripts (Python, IronPython, or PowerShell).
Support deployment of dashboards, data connections, and scheduled jobs.
Work closely with developers and business users to optimize data sources and performance.
Document processes, configurations, and change management activities.
Ensure compliance with IT security and governance standards
