Plant Simulation Engineer

Job Description

Requirements: Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation : Strong hands-on experience in building and validating simulation models. SimTalk Programming : Advanced knowledge of SimTalk scripting for custom logic and simulation behaviour. Ability to write clean, modular, and efficient code. Discrete Event Simulation (DES) : Deep understanding of DES principles applied to manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse systems. Data Handling and Analysis : Proficiency in Excel and structured data usage for simulation inputs and outputs. Ability to analyse KPIs such as throughput, cycle time, resource utilization, and bottlenecks. Optimization Tools within Plant Simulation : Experience using Experiment Manager, Gantt Charts, and Genetic Algorithms for scenario analysis and layout optimization. Digital Twin and Smart Manufacturing Concepts : Awareness of digital twin integration and Industry 4.0 readiness (preferred but not mandatory). Communication and Documentation : Strong skills in documenting models, assumptions, and results. Ability to present technical findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or related field. 1+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation . Strong in SimTalk scripting , discrete event simulation (DES), and model validation. Proficient in Excel-based data handling , KPI analysis (throughput, cycle time, utilization). Experience with Experiment Manager , Gantt Charts , and Genetic Algorithms for optimization. Knowledge of Digital Twin and Industry 4.0 concepts is a plus.
