Plant Simulation Engineer

Must Have Skills:

• Discrete Event Simulation (DES): Deep understanding of DES principles applied to manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse systems.
• Ability to analyse KPIs such as throughput, cycle time, resource utilization, and bottlenecks.
• Deep understanding on plant processes, be able to perform scenario analysis, understand the production layout (line) and perform manual process / layout optimization
• Data Handling and Analysis: Structured data usage for simulation inputs and outputs.
• Proficiency in Office Tools: Excel
• Communication and Documentation: Strong skills in documenting models, assumptions, and results. Ability to present technical findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation: Hands-on experience in building and validating simulation models.
• Experience in Optimization Tools viz. Experiment Manager, Gantt Charts within Plant Simulation
• SimTalk Programming: Knowledge of SimTalk scripting for custom logic and simulation behaviour. Ability to write clean, modular, and efficient code.
• Digital Twin and Smart Manufacturing Concepts: Awareness of digital twin integration and Industry 4.0 readiness.

Qualifications :

• Diploma/Bachelor’s/Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or related field.
• Atleast 1+ year of hands-on experience on the listed must have skills
