Role Overview: As a Plant Head/Factory Head - Operations in the textile industry, you will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations and assembly lines of fabric manufacturing. Your role will involve ensuring efficient production planning, quality control, and maintenance. You will collaborate with senior management on strategic plans and implement new technologies to enhance plant efficiency and product quality. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting performance reviews, managing the plant's budget, and monitoring operational expenses to achieve production targets. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for overall manufacturing operations and assembly lines of fabric manufacturing. - Ensure efficient production planning, quality control, and maintenance. - Collaborate with senior management on strategic plans. - Implement new technologies such as Kaizen, TQM, Six Sigma for plant efficiency and product quality. - Conduct performance reviews and adjust to meet production targets. - Prepare and manage the plant's budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with goals. - Monitor and control operational expenses. - Ensure timely product dispatch and on-time delivery to maintain efficiency. - Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and reduce waste. - Manage Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations, including inventory management and logistics coordination. - Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives through effective communication and collaboration. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. - Maintain MIS reports to track operational performance. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech/B.E in Textile/Textile Chemistry with a minimum of 20+ years of experience in production line, preferably in fabrics finishing or nonwoven sectors excluding weaving. - At least 10+ years of experience as a Plant/Operations Head in the manufacturing industry. - Strong understanding of PPC (Production Planning & Control), Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, and SCM. - Experience in textile manufacturing is preferred. - Experience in ERP implementation and deployment. - Strong leadership skills with a proven track record.
