Job Title: Plant Head Experience Required: 17+ years Education: B.E./B.Tech (Mandatory); MBA preferred Location: Dadri (Delhi NCR) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and performance-driven Head for Plant Operations to oversee the end-to-end operations of our solar module manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in high-volume manufacturing, production planning, operational excellence, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Leadership & Strategy Lead all aspects of plant operations with maximum emphasis on Production. Drive alignment of plant goals with organizational vision and annual business plan. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to increase capacity utilization, yield, and throughput. 2. Production & Operations Management Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met or exceeded with optimal resource utilization. Monitor production KPIs (OEE, downtime, throughput, scrap rate, efficiency) and implement corrective actions. Oversee the implementation of industry best practices in manufacturing processes. 3. Quality & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to quality standards. Work closely with QA/QC departments to manage audits, certifications, and customer expectations. Enforce compliance with all legal, statutory, and environmental norms. 4. Cost Control & Continuous Improvement Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other initiatives. Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety. 5. Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and planning teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components. Minimize inventory carrying costs and avoid production disruptions. 6. People Management & Leadership Lead a team of departmental heads. Foster a high-performance culture, build leadership pipelines, and mentor future leaders. Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience of 17+ years. Experience in solar module manufacturing industry preferred. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma & other tools. Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated success in managing large teams and scaling production in high-growth environments.
