Plant General Manager

As the Plant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety. Your role will involve ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing of products while leading a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and team performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operational Management:** - Oversee the overall plant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. - Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations. - Implement strategies in alignment with strategic business objectives. - **Production Planning & Control:** - Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product standards and reducing costs. - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as productivity, quality, delivery, and safety. - **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** - Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, safety regulations, and environmental policies. - Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain high product quality and reduce rework or waste. - **Team Leadership:** - Lead, motivate, and develop plant staff; build a strong leadership pipeline. - Conduct performance reviews, training, and succession planning. - **Safety and Maintenance:** - Ensure the plant operates in a safe and secure environment. - Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all equipment and infrastructure. - **Customer and Supplier Coordination:** - Coordinate with sales, supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams for seamless operations. - **Continuous Improvement:** - Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field (Masters preferred). - 10+ years of progressive experience in plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.,
