Position Description Business Division: CSM Agchem Department: Engineering Location: Jambusar Position Title: Lead - Electrical Reporting to (Title): Lead E&I Level: Middle Management Position Purpose The Position is responsible to plan, execute and perform Electrical maintenance activities and ensure uninterrupted power generation safely while meeting all statutory & organizational requirements within budgeted cost & time. Compliance of statutory requirement, Perform equal to business & organizational requirements Strategic Responsibilities Assisting HOD-E&I in techno commercial inputs pertaining to electrical installations, Power distribution, statutory compliances, practices on Electrical maintenance and power generation. Preventive and Break down maintenance of different electrical installations and Assisting in contract electrician selections and utilization related to plant maintenance. Implement new initiatives for Energy Management system Operational Responsibilities System management related to plant maintenance: Maintain ISO systems Ensure proper record keeping Keeping and timely analysis of data Meeting Statutory and organizational requirements: Legal requirements related to electrical installations Customer requirements and guidelines Equipment inspection and installation related to electrical system Inventory control according to approved budget Suggestion and implementation of schemes in Electrical system to reduce downtime of equipment Perform analysis of data and implement action plan evaluated from cause analysis Ensure timely completion of break down & shut down jobs Follow up with purchase department for PR, daily monitoring of SAP notification & assign Order Assistance in Identification of Non-Performing asset and formality to disposed that Provide help to Project Deptt. for electrical equipment relocation, shifting, connection, Disconnection Ensure safe practices in the function and people Financial Responsibilities Preparation of Fuel, CAPEX and plant maintenance budgets Implement the cost saving measures in the maintenance function People Responsibilities Ensure smooth working of the department and maintain high Morale of the Workforce Provide on Job guidance to sub-ordinates to enhance skills and knowledge Monitor and review performance of sub-ordinates Education Qualification B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering Work Experience 12 – 15 years Industry to be Hired from Chemical processed based industry like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals. Fine / specialty chemicals or can be from other continuous process industry also. Functional Competencies Sound knowledge in High Voltage Electrical Equipment operation & Maintenance Ability to handle day to day maintenance and operation of power plant and electrical maintenance with the help of engineers / Technician /contractor person Knowledge of SAP Interaction Complexity and Team Work Contact Person (mention the level / position that the position-holder will interact with) Frequency Nature of Interaction DGM-Engineering / PD / Projects / Production / Purchase / MR Sr. Manager / Manager – Maintenance / Electrical / Instrumentation / HSE / HR / Production Supervisors - Production/Utility/Maintenance As & when required Technical / administrative Customer(s): Internal Sr. Manager / Manager / Asst.
