Plant Controller

Role Overview: As a Plant Controller at Ball, you will be responsible for managing plant finance, monitoring and controlling costs, and safeguarding the assets of the company. You will play a crucial role in supporting Financial planning & analysis for the plant and collaborating with the FP&A team in ICO, Bangalore. Your expertise will be vital in developing business processes, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring project finance control for greenfield capex infusion projects. Key Responsibilities: - Support Financial planning & analysis for the plant and collaborate with the FP&A team in ICO, Bangalore for overall plant MIS submissions. - Coordinate the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances. - Manage month-end and year-end close process including Billing, A/R, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. - Assist the Central finance team in the preparation & finalization of Company's Financial Statements as per applicable Accounting Standards. - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and improve processes. - Efficiently handle project finance control for minimum US$50mm greenfield capex infusion and ensure construction targets are met. - Analyze and review Capital Expenditure Request (AFE) actual savings for Maintenance Capex. - Perform balance sheet reconciliation and ensure effective and efficient operation of controls and framework. - Support the implementation of appropriate controls and reconciliation to prevent revenue leakages for the Central and Sector Finance team. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. - Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders across all departments. - Prior experience working as a Business Partner in a manufacturing environment. - Advanced SAP and Excel skills. - Fluency in English & Hindi; ability to communicate in Telugu and Tamil will be beneficial.
