It exports the bulk of its produce to top global brands across many countries in Americas and Europe. Headquartered at Gurgaon, it has multiple manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR, which produce mostly export stock.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Compliance Head (Industrial) with Engineering background to join our team for our Manufacturing facilities at Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years experience working as Admin Head or Engineering Admin within an Industrial/ Manufacturing setup. The candidate should also have adequate experience in overseeing all facility based and company-wide Compliances with the Fire-safety standards, ESG, and other Haryana and Delhi state government compliances.

The role would be responsible for supporting Production, Engineering, SCM, HR and other teams by providing end-to-end administration support. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical requirements, including ability to read and interpret technical drawings of basic assembly/Machining tasks. and be able to provide support in managing and supporting Production department within timelines. Good Gurgaon and Delhi NCR based vendor management is essential.

Responsibilities

Administration and Facilities Management

Operational oversight: Manage the overall administrative functions for both the office and the factory floor to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Production Engineering Support: Provide timely support to Production department in various maintenance and shifting activities, including Electrical and Civil work support within agreed TAT.

Vendor and contract management: Negotiate and manage service agreements with vendors for facility maintenance, utilities, and security. Oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services cost-effectively, in close coordination with the SCM team.

Upkeep and maintenance: Ensure the proper repair and maintenance of all plant facilities, buildings, and equipment.

Compliance and regulatory affairs

Statutory compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and central government regulations, including Health & safety, ESG, etc applicable to industrial establishments in the Haryana and Delhi/NCR region, including factory regulations and labour laws.

Liaison with authorities: Act as the primary contact with government and regulatory authorities, handling any necessary interactions and ensuring all documentation is in order for audits and inspections.

Policy implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce administrative policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a smooth and compliant operation.

Safety, security, and risk management

Security oversight: Oversee the security team to ensure the 24/7 safety and security of the plant, personnel, and assets, including monitoring CCTV surveillance.

Safety protocols: Implement and monitor safety procedures and emergency preparedness plans to maintain a safe working environment.

Crisis management: Handle administrative issues and potential crises with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Must - Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Civil or Production Engineering with certifications on SCM, Warehousing or Logistics management.

Experience of working in a senior capacity of an Engineering Admin or Head Admin role in a Manufacturing Industry, preferably in the Gurgaon to Bhiwadi Industrial belt.

Strong bent of mind for Industrial facility and Engineering operations support.

Experience in providing Office administration support with a focus on Health and Safety management in the workplace.

Extensive knowledge and application of Statutory compliances in Haryana Industrial belt.

A good understanding of Health and Safety and CDM regulations of Haryana

Proactive management of workload to pre-empt requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

Experience using various facilities management systems.

Electrical, Civil or Production qualification is a must.

Organized, with strong attention to detail to spot errors that could cause rework / reputational damage.

Admin department budgeting and forecasting experience.

Team Management experience is a must.
