Responsibility and Mandate:

• Distribution Planning - Manage stock replenishment in assigned areas of supply chain network
• Define Safety stock norms and maintain stock levels in all the CFAs to manage uncertainties in demand & supply
• Deliver fill rates (OTIF) at all the CFAs across the country
• Ensure On Time Finished Goods delivery of Consumer promotions, new launches and season plans in alignment with demand & supply team
• Stock Freshness – Maintain high stock Freshness across all CFAs & work on the strategies to reduce SLOB
• Co-ordinate between demand and supply team to align and ensure stock availability

Main Tasks and/or Projects:

• Daily stock availability monitoring and distribution planning for all the CFAs
• Align with Logistics team on Dispatch schedule and release dispatch plan
• Ensure high truck utilization for all the vehicle movements – Reduce transportation cost
• Ensure on time dispatches and manage stock levels in the CFAs to avoid sales loss or stock outs
• Pro-actively look at current gaps in service levels (Case Fill, Delivery performance, service network) and suggest and implement improvement plans
• NPD, promotion & season plans: Align the plan schedules with demand team and ensure the distribution within timelines
• Maintain required stock freshness in all the CFAs – Highlight SLOB risks and manage the liquidation in collaboration with sales & marketing teams
• Work on the action plans to reduce SLOB generation
• Provide forward requirement visibility to Supply team to ensure stock availability
• Co-ordination with various stakeholders

Education & Qualification

• MBA – Operations/B.E., Field of Study – Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service in Supply
• 2–4 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Planning & Distribution in FMCG industry
