Planning Manager

As an experienced Planning Manager at Mott MacDonald, you will be leading the project planning team with precision and a deep understanding of the construction industry to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve strategic planning, effective communication, and robust project management skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Have knowledge and skills in understanding stages of planning such as pre-contract (Procurement) and post-contract stages. - Understand work methods of different packages including structural, finishes, and long lead equipment. - Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6. - Review basic plans shared by the Client, validate with various work packages, and prepare a baseline integrated plan for the overall project. - Review and freeze baseline schedules of each work package contractor/vendor. - Keep records of monthly project plan versus progress and prepare monthly project reports. **Qualifications Required:** - BE / BTech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering. - Experience of 15 to 17 years in Industrial Projects. - In-depth technical skills related to planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls in the construction of industrial buildings. - Solid communication and team working skills. - Experience with MS Project / Primavera.
